Bristol's smallest pub. The White Lion has been a pub since at least 1806. Its back wall is part of the original medieval Bristol city wall, and the stairs to the gents come from the old city gaol. Once known as "the cheese pub," this small, cosy venue offers a welcoming atmosphere for regulars and visitors alike. Enjoy outdoor seating opposite the Cenotaph piazza and select from 5 real ales, featuring Wickwar Wessex and rotating guest casks.
