Welcome to BarTrender (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services available at BarTrender.co.uk (the “Service”).

By accessing or using BarTrender, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Who Can Use the Service

BarTrender is intended for use by persons aged 18 or over. By using this Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Some content on BarTrender relates to licensed premises and alcohol. It is not directed at minors.

BarTrender is available to:

• Consumers - members of the public using the Service to discover pubs, venues, events, and food and drink offers. Consumer use is free of charge.
• Venues - businesses listing their premises, events, or offers on BarTrender. Venue use is currently free of charge. We intend to introduce commercial packages for venues in the future. Where we do so, we will provide advance notice and separate commercial terms will apply.

3. Use of the Service

BarTrender provides information about pubs, venues, events, and food and drink offers across the UK.

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms
• Not misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the platform or its infrastructure
• Not attempt to access data, systems, or accounts you are not authorised to access
• Not use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

We may suspend or restrict your access to the Service if we believe these Terms have been breached, without notice and at our sole discretion.

4. Accuracy of Information

BarTrender displays information provided by venues and third parties. While we take reasonable steps to ensure quality, we do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing
• The availability of any offer, event, or promotion
• The accuracy of any pricing, opening hours, or timings

Venues are responsible for the accuracy of the content they submit. We recommend that users verify key details directly with the relevant venue before making any journey or purchase.

5. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, BarTrender is not liable for:

• Incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information displayed on the Service
• Changes to offers, events, menus, or pricing made by venues
• Any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data, whether direct or indirect
• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service

Use of the Service is at your own risk. Our total liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed £100.

6. Venue Listings

If you are a venue operator using BarTrender to list your premises, events, or offers, the following terms apply in addition to these Terms.

6.1 Your responsibilities

You agree that:

• All information you submit is accurate, up to date, and not misleading
• You are the owner of, or are authorised to publish, all content you submit
• You will update your listings promptly if any information changes
• You will not submit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful

6.2 Our rights

We reserve the right to:

• Edit, remove, or unpublish any listing at our discretion
• Suspend or terminate venue accounts where these Terms are breached
• Introduce commercial venue packages in the future, subject to advance notice and separate terms

6.3 Your data

If a venue account is closed - whether by you or by us - your listing content will be removed from the public-facing Service within a reasonable period. We may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Platform Content

BarTrender is a curated discovery platform displaying venue information, events, offers, and related hospitality content.

Content displayed on the Service may be sourced from venues, partners, publicly available information, or internally managed by BarTrender.

We reserve the right to edit, update, remove, suspend, or restrict any content displayed on the Service at our sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on BarTrender - excluding content supplied by venues, partners, or third-party providers - is owned by or licensed to BarTrender Group Ltd, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, branding, software, and design elements.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any part of the Service without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee that:
